About the Training Centre
Our training centre is equipped with cutting-edge facilities, including specialised workshops, advanced electrical labs and practical simulation rooms designed to support our delegates' learning and technical skills development.
The Training Centre is based in Gloucester, conveniently located off Junction 11 of the M5.
We’ve trained hundreds of electrical apprentices since establishing our first in-house training centre in 1998. Ranked in the Department for Education’s list of Top 100 Apprentice Employers, we’re proud to offer one of the most successful apprenticeship programmes in the country.

Our History
Our first training centre opened in 1999 when we began training apprentices employed by the contracting arm of our business. What started off as a small operation with just one group to train soon grew to teaching multiple classes and then expanded to deliver fully accredited short courses.
From the beginning, our focus has always been on delivering high quality, enjoyable training that meets the standards required by awarding bodies as well as the needs of our customers. We’ve continued to expand and develop our facilities and the range of courses available.
Today, our training team includes several lecturers and assessors who completed their electrical apprenticeships with Clarkson Evans, therefore progressing from trainee to trainer, gaining considerable industry experience along the way.
