Day 2:

• Competent Person Schemes
• Commissioning of a mechanical ventilation heat recovery unit
• Inspection and testing
• Certification and documentation of a mechanical ventilation heat recovery unit Assessments

• Installation of ventilation systems
• Ductwork and extract terminals/grilles installation requirements
• NICEIC DOMESTIC VENTILATION
• Commissioning of natural and continuous ventilation systems
• Inspect, test and commissioning (practical)

• 2 x 45-minute assessment workbooks.
• 1 x 105-minute multiple choice written exam
• 1 x 1.5-hour practical assessment

The course is ideal for experienced electricians, plumbers, ventilation installers and heating engineers looking to improve their knowledge and understanding of Domestic Ventilation Systems.

The initial course fee covers the cost of the first attempt at a course exam or practical assessment. If you are unsuccessful on your first attempt, we will advise you on how to request a resit and inform you about the associated cost.
